An homage to landscape and home.
a small organic herb & craft farm
rooted in the landscape where the Dyje and Morava rivers meet
Everything on our farm begins with the landscape — old orchards, oak forests and the wild herbs of South Moravia.
We keep sheep and alpacas, grow certified organic herbs and explore traditional crafts that give local natural materials a new life.
Everything we make is a continuation of the story of this place.
Our Story
Farma na vlně did not begin as a business plan. It grew from a desire to create, care for the landscape and build upon what was here before us.
It is a personal project founded by Tereza Horáková and her lifelong friend Lenka Truksová, growing alongside our everyday lives — slowly, naturally and with joy in every small step forward.
“For many years, I dreamed of having a small farm of my own. Behind that dream was a simple idea: that every generation should take what it has inherited and pass it on, hopefully a little better than before.”
We can no longer farm this land in the same way people did decades ago. The landscape has changed, the climate has changed, and so has our way of life. Yet we believe that small-scale farming still has a place — and a purpose.
We choose a way of working that reflects both our possibilities and our values. Instead of large machinery, we grow crops that reward careful work by hand. Instead of pursuing maximum production, we look for balance between landscape, farming and craft.
Animals are an equally important part of this cycle. Grazing animals are gradually disappearing from the South Moravian countryside, even though grazing helps maintain grasslands, returns nutrients to the soil and closes the natural cycle of farming.
Wool and hides are therefore not waste to us, but valuable natural materials — resources that can find a new life through craftsmanship and contemporary design.
~
Farma na vlně is a place where landscape, honest work and contemporary design come together. Every harvest, every fleece and every object we make carries something of the place it comes from.

HOMAGE began here as a tribute to home, landscape and the places where we feel we belong.
It is a new creative platform growing out of the farm, bringing together wool from our animals, plants from the land, traditional craft techniques and contemporary design.
Through HOMAGE, we explore how local natural materials and overlooked resources can become relevant again — through objects, material experiments and collaborations that connect landscape, craft and contemporary life.
The farm is where this story begins. ~ HOMAGE is where it can travel further.
